How to Wear: Crop Top

By: Kasey Curran

Spring has sprung! Well, kind of. Until the latest snowfall, Marist students have fully embraced warm weather and spring vibes. So much so that even River + Stone has caught spring fever. Our spring crop top is super versatile, trendy and of course, spirited. Here’s three entirely different looks that makes this the perfect garment for anyone’s style!

Look #1: Sporty

Need an effortless outfit for a busy day? Pair this River + Stone crop top with workout leggings, some killer sneakers, and add a flannel or zip-up in case there’s a chilly breeze. Every college student needs an easy, trendy outfit for a super packed day. Because athleisure is completely on trend right now, this is definitely a must for spring!

Look #2: Dress it up!

Spring time is for flowy dresses and wind blown hair, am I right? Almost every girl owns a maxi dress, and a way to style it to create a whole new look is to add this crop top right over it! Not only does this give off a bohemian vibe, but it offers something new to something old.

Look #3: Edgy

Have somewhere to be this Friday night? Whether it’s a date or dinner with friends, style your crop top edgy by adding a pair of black jeans, classic black heels, and biker jacket. This will turn this casual day top into a contemporary Friday night ensemble. Slick back your hair into a tight high ponytail for additional edge.

Its pretty clear that River + Stone crop top is a must have in everyone’s spring/summer wardrobe. Not only is it stylish, but it offers a subtle school spirit that Marist students should be excited to show off!
